Toasted Almond Cupcakes with Caramel Frosting:
Notes: These were my first cupcakes I decided to test! I think I did a pretty good job considering my general lack of knowledge in the culinary department.
Callie: 4/5 (because she doesn’t like nuts)
Mom:4.5/5 (personal preference not a huge almond fan, but it wasn’t too strong)
Me: I thought they were really good. The cake part was light, fluffy, and not overwhelmed by almond flavor. The icing was really good, but perhaps slightly too sweet for the light cake.
